David Dyakov (1st prize)
was born on February 18, 1994 in Braine-le-Comte, Belgium in the family of engineers. He started playing the guitar when he was 8 years old. When he was 10 he played his first concert for guitar and orchestra in A of Mauro Giuliani accompanied by an orchestra. Since then he has performed more than 130 one-man concerts and 30 concerts accompanied by an orchestra. His solo repertoire is always renewed and includes works of Mertz, Rodrigo, Bach, Torroba, Aguado, Tedesco and Giuliani, as well as concerts accompanied by an orchestra including Guitar and orchestra Concert in A of Mauro Giuliani, Concert in e moll - F.Carulli, Concierto de Aranjuez - J.Rodrigo and others.
He has played with the symphony orchestra of Bourgas, Sliven, Stara Zagora, the chamber orchestra of Dobrich, Orpheus orchestra, Bulgarian Festival orchestra, Athens Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra of Classic FM and others.
He has finished the master’s class of Anello Desiderio, Konrad Ragossnig, Georgi Vassilev, David Russell, Ricardo Iznaola during the Bowdoin Music Festival in Brunswick, USA 2009, Yves Storms, Pirai Vaka.
On December 8 by invitation of the Spanish Embassy in Bulgaria he will perform Concierto de Aranjuez accompanied by the orchestra of Classic FM.
At the moment he is in his 4th year in the New Bulgarian University with the class of Mrs. Stolina Dobreva and he is a student in the State Musical School in Sofia “Lubomir Pipkov”.
David Dyakov is a scholarship student of the Young Virtuoso Students of the Ministry of Culture.

Omán Kaminsky (2nd prize, public award)
was born 1983 in Mexico City. Oman Kaminsky is one of the leading guitarists of his country. He is the winner of the "National Youth Award" the most important prize for the youth in México.
He is now doing Master studies in guitar at the “Koninklijk Conservatorium” in The Hague with Zoran Dukic.
He got his bachelor's degree with highest honours in the “Escuela Superior de Música” in Mexico City where he studied under the supervision of Isabelle Villey and Juan Carlos Laguna.

HSP Huygens Scholarship, from the government of The Netherlands.
More than 10 top prizes in guitar competitions in México.
Second prize in the Sharpach International Guitar Competition in The Netherlands. (2009)
Second prize in the International Guitar Competition of Aranda de Duero, Spain (2006)
Third prize, special prize of the public and special prize for the best interpretation of the works of Francisco Tárrega in the International Guitar Competition "Jose Tomas" in Spain. (2006)
He has offered concerts in Denmark, Spain, USA, Netherlands and Mexico.
